Last two servitors

All right the last two of the batch is done. So what's next - I guess I should paint these, but I kind of feel the need to build some more...Got an idea.

100 servitors

...or at least 100 followers, that's quite a milestone I think, so thanks to all you guys out there following the blog.
Today I have a few more servitors ready - only a few more to go till I reach the ten I was aiming for.

Heavy servitors

A few more servitors have rolled off the assembly line. This time fitted with some heavy duty tools, a huge powerdrill and a heavy powerlifter - yay! Go destroy lads.

Initiate protocol!

Since the NFL kicked off this weekend it pretty much stole all my spare time between Fantasy frenzy and as much Gamepass as possible - still got a few bits added, but this was the only servitor finished. Head and wetware added, so not he should be ready to die for the Omissah.

Haven't really had much mojo for some time, but now I'm slowly feeling it return. Cleaned up a few bits last night, now I just need to glue them together.

Praetorian Mrk. 1.02 & 1.03

Not as fast as I wanted, but I got a few more praetorians put together. This time a Mrk. with arc rifle and "something" - well, who really knows what the Mechanicus do? And a Mrk. with a chainaxe and gun.

oh - and I also ordered the new guys from Blightwheel - can't wait to see them in personae.

More praetorian WIP

Got a bit further on my prototype praetorian. Really like how he is turning out, looks a bit menacing, tough and different from the hypaspists, and still they both have that slightly darkcore look I've been aiming for.

Finished the last of the first Velites squad. Looking forward to getting these guys painted.

Velites II

Finished the last couple of Velites making up a full squad, with Thunderhammer armed Optio and melta weapon. Last one need a gun that's in the mail somewhere.

Got another concept together I've been thinking about for some time, my Myrmidiae Velites. I think they turned out quite nicely, and I hope to get the last few ones done today as well. Parts are again mostly Anvil Industry's with a couple of bits from puppetswar as well.

More hypaspists

Beginning to take shape of a unit now. I'm planning to add hoods to a few of them, and possibly a few little pieces of equipment like grenades and other useful stuff. Looking at the old ones, I've also been thinking about adding a segmented "groin"armour to these.
I've also tried altering the the position of the backpack, so the exhaust faces upwards. Can't quite make up my mind which I like the most, so I might go with a mix.
Put them next to the first version of the hypaspist, still think they look more mean.

Cannon-fodder no. 2

Second one up and ready to lay his his life for the might of the tech-gods

New Hypaspist

Along time ago I made my first attempts on making a good looking hypaspist. Never was really happy, several things bugged me - first of all it was pretty much a rip off of something I'd seen on the web, I felt they were a bit puny looking, not badass enough and were looking a bit too much like the priesthood.

Well I've finally managed to come up with something new and much better looking. This will be the basic design though heads are subject to change, some with hoods and some barefaced with respirator pieces . I really feel these are looking much more the part than my first try.
Gun, the large shoulder armour, the mechanical arm and the backpack are from Anvil Industry, the head is from Puppetswar. Really looking forward to building the rest of this squad.

A new beauty

Should have been painting some yesterday, but finally this beauty arrived in the mail. Been wanting to convert this for a long time - so I just couldn't help it. The plan was to make this the base for my Myrmidia assault engines.
It comes almost completely assembled, but luckily it was quite easy to get the bit from each other. Have a good feeling about this one.
