Size of the beast

Yay - just saw on the GW website that they changed the size of their Knight to 6" instead of 8". Pew - had me worried there for a second, would be quite difficult to add that much extra size to the Leviathan. 1½" on the other hand is just a fun challenge, that I'll be looking forward to. A bit of extra spine and a litte extra armour plating should easily give me an extra 1", which should fine together with the GW one. Hurray!!!

More parts coming together

Well happy holidays to you all. As most of us I guess, family has been the priority the last few days, and possibly the next few ones as well. Despite the lack of hobby time, this giant has grown a bit.

Guess this should keep the enemy busy!

In a slow, but none the less forward moving process the Knight is coming together. Take a look at the size of this gun - yasis, gonna make some holes yes?

Seriously huge!!!

I got something wicked out of a box yesterday - the DF Leviathan Crusader, 15mm style. First I was a bit taken aback with how many components there was in the box, but the "how to build" works really well. Now I just can't get over how cool I think it is, that some of the parts are actually held together by metal screws and that so many parts are actually moving.
Managed only to get the one leg done yesterday, but I got you a scaleshot to show how huge this thing is going to be. Really looking forward to get some more work done on this. I think I'll just do this pretty much out of the box, to get acquainted with the model, and then convert the arse out of the next one.

Knight Titans inbound

DreamForge-Games just released a new pic of their 15 mm leviathan - got a whole host of these inbound. Really looking forward to getting my hands on them, aren't they just amazing. Have to figure out small conversions, to make them a bit more Gothic looking.
The small chap on the side is a 28 mm trooper - and I was worried they would be too small...............................

Something wicked this way comes

Though I had promised myself no to buy any more plastics, I accidently went and pledged to a horde of these beautiful killing machines. They will of cause be fielded as my Forge Knight Titans. Now where is May.
